Gong Yoo starrer ‘Goblin’ OSTs conquer Instiz iChart; tvN drama highest viewership ratings yet

tvN''s "Goblin" recently conquered Instiz chart. Not just one, but three of its OST had made it to the top 10.

The Instiz chart combines the irrepressible variety of charts which South Korea uses to rank music scales. Also, fans uses the chart in determining whether their favorite artists has achieved an "All-Kill."

For Dec. 26 to 31 ranking, BIGBANG's "FXXK IT" got the No. 1 spot with 26,115 points. Followed by Bolbbalgan4's "Tell Me You Love Me," which garnered 23,547 points.

Landing on the 3rd place is the OST of Gong Yoo's hit drama "Goblin," entitled "Beautiful" by Crush with 18,946 points. Sam Kim's "Who Are You," and Eddy Kim's "You Are So Beautiful," came in 4th and 5th place with 18,328 points and 15,912 points, respectively, Allkpop reported.

Chanyeol X Punch's "Stay With Me" landed on the 6th spot with 11,566 points. Followed by BIGBANG's "Last Dance," Heize's "Star," TWICE's "TT," and MAMAMOO's "Decalcomanie."

Meanwhile, the drama's ratings continues to rise after airing its latest romance-packed episodes involving the goblin and its human bride. On Dec. 30, "Goblin" recorded its highest rating yet since it premiered on tvN.

After airing its Episode 10, "Goblin" recorded a nationwide viewership rating of 12.93 percent while Seoul clocked a stunning 13.33 percent, as reported by AGB Nielsen. Reports revealed that the rating increase due to kissing scene of its lead character, Kim Shin (Gong) and Eun Tak (Kim Go Eun).

The ongoing tvN hit drama depicts the story of an immortal goblin who is also a protector of souls, living together with an amnesiac grim reaper who is in charge of taking deceased souls. The two of them will see the dead off into the afterlife.

Also starring in the drama is Lee Dong Wook as the amnesiac Grim Reaper, Yoo In-na as Kim Sun or Sunny - a bright and attractive woman who will later falls in love with the Grim Reaper. South Korean actor Yook Sung Jae is also in the series, playing the character of Deok Hwa - a rebellious chaebol heir of the Yoo family which has promised to look after and be a companion to the goblin.

"Goblin" started airing in tvN on Dec. 2 at 10 p.m. KST. The drama series is expected to wrap up after airing 16 episodes.
