The Korean Institute of Corporate Reputation recently announced the brand reputation rankings for film actors for the month of December. Nabbing the No. 1 spot is the "Goblin" actor Gong Yoo with over 7 million points.
Over 72 million pieces of brand data was gathered by the research institute from November 30 to December 30 to evaluate the film actors in the areas of branding, media, communication, and community. The data was from the 25 Korean actors who are currently starring in films.
For the month of December 2016, the "Goblin" actor Gong Yoo nabbed the number one spot with a score of 7,705,239. Tailing in second is actor Kang Dong Won with a score of 7,472,214, and Lee Byung Hun placing 3rd with a score of 6,871,074, Naver TV reported.
Followed by Han Hyo Joo, Yoo Hae Jin, Kim Yoon Suk, Jung Woo Sung, Kim Soo Hyun, Hwang Jung Min, and Han Ji Min, wrapping up the list's top 10. South Korean actor Song Kang Ho got the 11th spot, followed by Jun Ji Hyun, Ha Jung Woo, Son Ye Jin, Cha Seung Won, Oh Dal Soo, Kim Hye Soo, Lee Beom Soo, Jung Jin Young, and Lee Jung Jae, who got the 20th spot.
Landing in the 21st spot is Yoo Ah In, followed by Choi Min Sik, Jeon Do Yeon, and Ryu Seung Ryong, respectively which wraps up the list. Earlier, the Korean Institute of Corporate Reputation also unveiled its reputation rankings for drama actors.
From Nov. 15 through Dec. 16, over 33,196,677 pieces of data was gathered to determine the brand reputation rankings for drama actors who are currently starring in a drama series. Couple of the ongoing SBS hit drama "The Legend of the Blue Sea" got the top spots, Soompi revealed.
Ranking first is the 35-year old actress, Jun, with a score of 9,570,088 - a 61.48 percent from her November ranking. Following in 2nd is the 29-year old actor Lee Min Ho, with a score of 5,467,926 - a 57.22 percent increase from his previous ranking.
"The Legend of the Blue Sea" is an ongoing drama series on SBS every Wednesday and Thursday at 10 p.m. KST. The drama aired its first episode on Nov. 16 and is expected to wrap up after 20 episodes.
