In episode 13, the investigation heats up as the police department interrogates Liars for answers related to Charlotte's murder. Meanwhile, the focus of the investigation shifts to The Radley, which is now an opulent hotel run by Hanna's mother. Hanna finds an alibi that could prove their innocence. At the same time, Emily opens up about her life in the last five years.

According to the press release for "New Guys, New Lies," Hanna begins to feel the pressure after the police stumbles upon The Radley security footage and begins to interrogate her. As things begin to take a toll on Hanna, she decides to make a confession to her closed ones and seeks help.
At the same time, Aria and Emily join forces to delve deeper into the mystery. Ezra is a changed man and his erratic behaviour puts him on Aria's radar. Aria is determined to solve the mystery so she attempts to find out whether Ezra is involved in the crime or not.
Spencer and Caleb continue to come closer in the wake of the new threat. They come together to find out the source of the new threats.
