Following the success of his drama "Moonlight Drawn By Clouds," several endorsements, TV show appearances and hostings, Park Bo Gum has been branded as the most hardworking Hallyu actor for the year 2016.
Kpopherald reported the survey was carried out by Moolmang, collecting over 40,000 votes from the respondents who have selected 14 Korean actors and actresses. The results were disclosed on Saturday where Park Bo Gum led the ranking with 18.6 percent.
The "Moonlight Drawn By Clouds" actor was followed by Gang Dong Won who earned 16.1 percent of the votes, Ryu Jun Yeol with 14.9 percent and Gong Yoo and Cho Jin Woong with 10 and 7.3 percent, respectively.
Park Bo Gum started his acting career with a supporting role for 2011 film called "Blind." The following year, the actor joined Blossom Entertainment and was casted in the action-comedy film titled "Runway Cop."
The Korean actor earned his first major role in 2013 for drama series "Wonderful Mama," where Park Bo Gum took the role of a playboy son. He rose to fame after playing as Choi Taek on "Reply 1988" in 2015.
He was even awarded with "Best International Artist Award," "Best Rising Star Award" and "Asia Star Award" for his role in the "Reply" series. After that, Park Bo Gum was offered several endorsements, making him an in-demand model.
Despite all his achievements, Park Bo Gum has remained grounded as per his colleagues. Most of them described the actor as polite and kind. In fact, the "Moonlight Drawn By Clouds" actor recently visited a hospital to bring happiness to sick children, Soompi cited.
Photos of the actor circulated in several online communities after a nurse shared her encounter with the actor on the internet. Reports claimed Park Bo Gum donated food from the company he is endorsing during his visit.
On the other hand, netizens commended the actor for doing such act without bringing the media. Many of them pointed out the actor's genuineness by keeping the act out of spotlight.
