WWE legend Chyna died in April and it was only now that the exact cause of her death was revealed. In her autopsy that was released to the public, it was learned that she died from dangerous cocktail mix of alcohol and prescription drugs.
Page Six further reported that the Los Angeles County coroner confirmed that the female wrestler took alcohol with a variety of painkillers and muscle relaxers. Moreover, the autopsy indicated that Chyna's toxicology tests showed that she drank alcohol mixed with ethanol, diazepam, nordazepam, oxymorphone, oxycodone and temazepam, a kind of insomnia medication.
In April 20 of this year, Chyna was found lifeless in her Redondo Beach apartment. She was found by her friend and manager, Anthony Anzaldo, three days after her actual death. Her manager and friends became concerned after she cannot be contacted and no one had seen her around.
Police said that the WWE star was found on her bed and it appears that her body is already in state of early decomposition. Looking around Chyna's bedroom, the police recovered several bottles of prescription meds, a plastic grinder, metal pipe shaped like a cigarette and a small wooden box.
Investigators also found some blister pack of pills in one of the drawers of her nightstand table. There was an empty pack of pills as well and loose tablets were scattered on the floor and on top of the dining table.
After the discovery of Chyna's death, Anzaldo shared that his 45-year-old friend and talent was taking medication for her sleeping and anxiety issues. He revealed that Chyna was kind of emotionally strained around the time she passed.
"She was really confronting some demons and she may have been taking a little bit more than normal,"Anzaldo told People. "Every couple of days she'd be a little bit off of her game, a little loopy, like maybe she had taken too much but she was still coherent."
