"Scarlet Heart: Goryeo" actor Kang Ha Neul is the latest victim of an Instagram hack. On Dec. 20, the actor's personal account was hacked by an illegal prostitution website.
When Kang Ha Neul Instagram account was hacked, a series of advertisements for prostitution services were posted on his feed. The 26-year-old star immediately noticed that his account had been compromised and deleted all inappropriate content.
According to Koreaboo, the actor also issued an apology for the worry he cause fans due to the Kang Ha Neul Instagram hack. In his message, he wondered how the hackers managed to get hold of his password. He also reminded everyone to stay cautious and take good care of their passwords.
The Kang Ha Neul Instagram hack is one of the many instances in which Korean celebrities' social media accounts are infiltrated by unknown hackers. Sometimes, the hackers turn out to be fans attempting to extract secret information about celebrities.
Meanwhile, Kang Ha Neul is currently filming his upcoming movie "Young Cops" together with Park Seo Joon. The first day of shooting took place at the Gyeonggi Police Academy campus, where Kang Ha Neul's and Park Seo Joon's characters enter the said academy.
For "Young Cops," Kang Ha Neul and Park Seo Joon cut their hair short to stay true to their roles as police academy students. The movie crew applauded the actors for their efforts and positive attitude towards demands of their roles.
Allkpop reports that Kang Ha Neul's "Young Cops" movie is about two college students who are studying to become policemen. While in school, they get caught up in a kidnapping case to which they are witnesses. Park Seo Joon will play the warm-hearted Hwang Ki Joon. Kang Ha Neul will take on the role of Hang Ki Joon's best friend, Kang Hee Yeol.
Fans are looking forward to see Kang Ha Neul and Park Seo Joon's chemistry on screen! Kang Ha Neul's "Young Cops" will hit theaters early next year.
