Atlus continues its domination in the world of RPG with its impressive titles such as the "Persona" series and its original source material, "Shin Megami Tensei." But reports are coming in about a brand new title from the popular game production company set for announcement soon.
One More Title
Atlus will soon reveal another title that will soon add to their arsenal of popular games. According to Crunchyroll, the company is currently working on a brand new game and it's reportedly different from the current library of the gaming company.
A totally different game from Atlus is a welcome addition for RPG gamers especially those who follow stylized gameplay made by companies such as Atlus. It's even interesting to note that the upcoming game's producer and director Katsura Hashino, announced that they will "challenge the norms of the genre" according to the translation provided by Gematsu.
Upcoming Announcement
For now, the game's title or release date is still unknown. But that will soon change as Atlus is set to reveal additional details of the game in Dec. 23. Additional teaser was also released with an artwork created by one of the designers working on "Persona 5."
If there's any information known from a single piece of artwork is the fact that the game could be another RPG. The game could also be set in another timeline based on the costume since the character holds a sword and is on full battle armor of a knight.
An Atlus game set in medieval era with the same minds and artists behind "Persona 5" looks very promising. It would even be better if the gameplay and stylized storyline could take some pointers from their popular gaming series. It's going to be a big announcement as it will set Atlus with another long series to work on if the game becomes another big success.
