In episode 10, fans saw the American-Chinese family celebrate Christmas in a special way. Louis hosts a "breakfast with Santa" at his restaurant. Meanwhile, Jessica makes stories about Santa to keep Evan believing. She tells Evan that Santa is actually a scientist who gives away gifts as charity work. Furthermore, Eddie and Emery clash over buying a gift for their mother.

Moving on the Season 2 episode 10. According to the synopsis (via ABC's official website) for the "Year of the Rat," the Huangs are all set for celebrating Chinese New Year with their friends and family in Washington D.C. However, things are not going to go as expected. Their plan hits a snag when a confusion occurs and they never reach Washington D.C.

They end up spending their holiday in Orlando with the Asian-American Association of Orlando. The community's "less than authentic interpretation of a Chinese New Year celebration" is going to leave the Huangs feeling very different.

Meanwhile, Lawyer Herald notes that Huangs will be dealing with post-Christmas blues as they start to prepare for the next big holiday. It is said that Huangs experience their own traditions and culture in foreign land while they make necessary arrangements for the Chinese New Year.

Recently, online portal Broadway World revealed that America's popular Chinese restaurant Panda Express is collaborating with "Fresh Off the Boat" to celebrate Chinese New Year. They will be promoting the upcoming episode and encouraging the viewers to join in the celebration by displaying branded New Year Posters in their restaurant.

Starring Hudson Yang, Randall Park, Constance Wu, Lucille Soong, and Ian Chen, "Fresh Off the Boat" Season 2 episode 11 "Year of the Rat" premieres on ABC at 8:00 pm on Feb. 2. Stay tuned for more spoilers and updates.
