The long wait is almost over as Rain is finally confirmed to make a comeback on Jan. 15.
According to Korea Times, Rain is set to release his newest album which features a couple of collaborations with other artists. Rain Company also dropped a teaser image that features a theme of red and Rain's almost silhouette image.
The upcoming return of Rain will be his first after his January 2014 comeback with "Rain Effect." Despite the closeness of his return, Rain has kept everything under wraps to surprise his fans.
"Rain has always staged top quality shows for every new album with unique concepts and brilliant performances," an official of Rain Company said.
Aside from that, Allkpop reported Rain will be making an appearance on "A Hyung I Know." Although the date is still unconfirmed, reports stated the guest appearance will be aired in January as well.
The only thing they confirmed is that Rain has finished producing his upcoming album. Further reports claimed the Korean singer also filmed a music video for the comeback. Also, Rain reportedly continues to attend rehearsals as part of the preparation for his return.
On top of that, reports stated Rain will stage a concert ahead of his official return in Singapore on Dec. 30. The concert is said to be part of the series of promotional activities scheduled for the comeback of the singer.
Despite his hiatus in the music industry, Rain has been active in his acting career. The idol was casted on SBS drama series titled "Please Come Back, Mister," which started airing in February 2016.
Also this year, he was tapped to take part in Chinese drama called "Endless August," sharing the small screen with Chinese model-actress Victoria Song.
