The cast for "Cinderella and the Four Knights" has been finalised, according to recent rumours. Jung Il Woo, Lee Jung Shin and Park So Dam will be joined by Ahn Jae Hyun, Son Na Eun and Choi Min in leading roles for the upcoming fantasy drama. Read on for more details.
"Cinderella and the Four Knights" is a 16-episode television series based on a novel that tells a story of 20-something living in one mansion together. According to Dramabeans, Park will be playing the leading role of an intellectual high school student Eun Ha Won who tries to find an escape and solace in her multiple jobs. When she finds a high-paying job, she is offered to move into a huge mansion where she finds herself living with her boss' three grandsons and a bodyguard.
Ahn Jae Hyun will play the eldest grandson Kang Hyun Min. He is good looking and a womanizer. He has everything that he desires for and lives a life of a prince. Jung portrays the role of Kang Ji Woon, who has a rags-to-riches story to tell. He is also a loner and a rebel who will be clashing with his eldest cousin over the matters involving girls.
It is said that Sohn will play the role of the second leading female character. She will find herself in a love triangle. While she is in love with Ahn's character, Jung will be the one in love with her. It is reported that she will use Jung's situation to her advantage in order to get Ahn.
The role of the third cousin will be played by Lee. He happens to be a warm hearted person, who is a singer and a songwriter by profession. As for Min, he portrays the role of the bodyguard to the girl as well as the secretary to the boys' grandfather.
Rumours about "Cinderella and the Four Knights" casting surfaced earlier this month. According to All K Pop, Jung and Ahn's agency confirmed that the actors are considering the said roles. "Jung Il Woo and Ahn Jae Hyun are deciding whether or not to take part, and the casting offers are being internally considered," the statement read.
The show thats was earlier known as "You're the First" will be helmed by Kwon Hyuk Chan. The script is being penned down by Min Ji Eun and Won Young Sil and produced by HB Entertainment. The premiere date for "Cinderella and the Four Knights" is yet to be revealed. However, it is expected to go on air sometime in the first half of this year.
