(Photo : YouTube/DramaFever) The success and enigmatic presence of the “Goblin” stars continues to soar higher. The unparalleled collaboration of Lee Dong Wook and the “Train to Busan” star Gong Yoo is bound to shake the entertainment industry of South Korea.

After airing four episodes, "Goblin" has been receiving good feedbacks from its viewers, not only in South Korea but also across the pond.

However, many of its viewers were also uncomfortable seeing Gong Yoo and Kim Go Eun's romantic scenes in the drama series. Allkpop reported some of them called out the people behind "Goblin" by posting their concerns on the official website of the drama.

"Do I have to watch a drama what portrays a pedophile in 2016? The man who looks like he is middle aged and a minor falling for each other is being portrayed as romance...It's disgusting," a commenter said.

Another netizen said, "I think Kim Go Eun's character needs some changes. She is simply too childish so the whole relationship seems Lolita-like."

A commenter also expressed her disappointment on the writer of "Goblin" and said, "It's a bit weird to watch Kim Go Eun's character throw herself at an older male...I'm disappointed at the writer."

While many viewers are complaining about the love line of Gong Yoo and Kim Go Eun, there were also some who came to rescue the writer and drama series, stating that other viewers are just bias about their judgments.

"It's an understandable portrayal. She believed that she's the Goblin's Bride for 19 years, and he is finally here. Also, she is desperate because there is no one in the world who can look after her."

Despite the complaints, "Goblin" is still dominating the K-Drama industry in terms of ratings. Soompi cited the drama series earned 303 points in the Content Power Index (CPI) rankings.

With its current figures, "Goblin" is currently sitting at the top spot for first week of December. Further reports stated its ratings continue to soar since the drama aired its first episode on Dec. 2.
