The Warriors will have a true test in their consistency. They will face Anthony Davis, Carmelo Anthony and Damian Lilliard in this week’s schedule. Will they be able to overcome them all?

They have conquered their first challenge in New Orleans by defeating the Pelicans 113-109 this Tuesday night. Stephen Curry led the scoring with 30 points, followed by Kevin Durant with 27 points and Klay Thompson who made 17 points. Draymond Green posted his first triple double with 12 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists,

Golden State Warriors will host Carmelo Anthony and New York Knicks on Thursday, Dec. 15. Subsequently they will also have Lillard and Portland Trail Blazers visiting Oracle Arena on Saturday.

According to CBS Sports, this week’s game will be a true test for Warriors after they stumbled in a game against Memphis Grizzlies last Saturday. They played without center Zaza Pachulia and Andre Iguodala and the Grizzlies defeated them 89-110.

A big hole in their offense during the absence of their two strong defenders has given a new homework for head coah Steve Kerr. He has to fix their defense to make Anderson Varejao be more active in defense mode.

In the game against the Pelicans, Kerr made another experiment to put JaVale McGee as starter in center, as reported by SF Gate, while Pachulia was still sidelined. Kerr’s experiment worked well. Although McGee was not as dominant as Pachulia around the rim, but he was able to make 9 points and 4 rebounds and reduce Davis offensive rebound to zero.

The next game against the Knicks will be crucial because they will have to contain the versatile big Kristaps Porzingis and his scoring prowess. In the last two games, Prozingis led the scoring with 26 points and 34 points against the Lakers and Phoenix Suns respectively. Their final test will be against the Portland Trail Blazers and their point guard
