Microsoft lately introduces high-end and next-generation devices, no wonder a lot of people especially business people switch from Apple MacBook to Microsoft Surface. What made people change their minds?

Microsoft is aiming MacBook users with its most recent commercials and it seems to be working. According to the software behemoth, November was the greatest month in terms of Microsoft Surface customer sales from a good number of Black Friday deals for the Surface pro 4. The software company didn't release any sales figures, however, argued that more people shift from Macs to Surface than before.

"Our trade-in program for MacBooks was our best ever, and the combination of excitement for the innovation of Surface coupled with the disappointment of the new MacBook Pro -especially among professionals -is leading more and more people to make the switch to Surface," wrote Brian Hall, corporate vice president for Microsoft Devices Marketing," as quoted by AppleInsider.

Microsoft has broadened its Surface lineup starting with the Surface Studio in October which is an all-in-one desktop personal computer which triumphs on Apple's iMac equipped with a special adjustable display.

As soon as Apple launched its new MacBook Pro, rival Microsoft released a promotion for MacBook Pro and MacBook Air owners that offer $650 credit in favor of a new Surface Book or Surface Pro 4. The company also released the Surface Studio in October along with the all-in-one PC desktop which earned positive feedback.

Besides the Surface sales, Microsoft is also widening the new Surface Book with Performance Base availability to other regions such as Australia and New Zealand. It will soon be procurable as well in China, France, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Japan, UK, and Hong Kong early next quarter, The Verge has cited.

Microsoft's Surface Book starts at $1,499 which is also the same price as the Apple's new 13-inch MacBook Pro equipped with a standardized row of function keys.

Before, Apple has dominated the market share compared to the bigger Windows platform, but with the emergence of Microsoft's hardware business, there has been a turn of events. Microsoft now seems to be in the lead in terms of devices and laptops. The disappointment in MacBook and its Touch Bar's performance lead many people to shift to Microsoft Surface lineup.
