Apple continues to pride itself for its security to the point that it has implemented closed infrastructure and OS setting to protect its users from outside attacks. While Pangu has found a way to thwart the challenge of Apple through jailbreak, the upcoming iOS 10.2 version has stumped jailbreak developers.

iOS 10.2 Updates and Release Date

According to 9 to 5 Mac, Apple is currently trying out the latest updates for their iOS devices. Without providing revolutionary changes to their mobile device, the upcoming update offers something impressive for users.

The upcoming version of iOS will come with brand new features that affects the performance and functionality of Apple devices. Among them is the addition of TV application as well as new emojis. The version is currently its final stages for testing before any form of public release.

Challenges to Jailbreaking

Although Apple is about to release an update for iOS 10, jailbreaks are still non-existent. The official website of Pangu currently offers jailbreak for the original iOS 10 up to 10.0.3 on select devices and networks. The site doesn't have any information on the possible release date of a mobile device after a jailbreak.

Jailbreaking vs. Regular iOS Devices

One of the biggest advantage of jailbreaking is the fact that users can unleash the full potential of their Apple devices as they see fit. Without going through Apple installation, users can install anything they want in their Apple devices.

However, the biggest challenge is the security of mobile phones. Pangu is known for release jailbreaking tools but warns of possible fake tools whose only goal is to steal users' data.

On the other hand, regular iOS devices can enjoy the full support of Apple because of its tight infrastructure of hardware and software. However, it is still limiting because users have to rely on Apple handle every user need in their mobile device.
