EXO Chen experienced a bit of wardrobe malfunction during their performance at the "2016 Mnet Asian Music Awards." "2016 MAMA" is an annual awards ceremony organized by CJ E&M through Mnet.

During EXO's performance at "2016 MAMA," Chen's pants split midway while performing their song "Transformer." But rather than be agitated or ashamed, the 24-year old singer quickly removed his jacket and tied it around his waist then continued performing like nothing had happened, as reported by SBS.

However, his newly improvised costume worked just fine right up until EXO began performing "Monster" and the members need to go down on the floor as part of their choreography. Embarrassed, Chen then flustered and smile while covering himself up with his jacket and continued performing.

Meanwhile, artists of JYP Entertainment suffered a disproportionate amount of mistakes during "2016 MAMA." The Korean rock band DAY6 formed by JYP Entertainment was listed as DAY8 twice, during their Best Band Performance introduction clip, Allkpop reported.

GOT7 was also captioned as MONSTA X during their "Hard Carry" performance. And one of GOT7's member Jackson was wrongly written as "Jacson."

Although the awards ceremony have been full of exciting performances, surely there is no room for multiple mistakes. Infuriated, fans of GOT7 and DAY6 then demanded an apology from Mnet. However, it hasn't happened yet.

GOT7 was formed by JYP Entertainment in 2014. The seven member group is composed of JB, Jinyoung, Youngjae, Yugyeom, Mark, Jackson, and BamBam - who are from South Korea, United States, Hong Kong, and Thailand, respectively. The group is the first all-male band from JYP after six years, following 2PM's debut on 2008.
