Dec. 3 marked the end of the journey for Jota and Jin Kyung's virtual marriage on "We Got Married" after six months.

The 17-minute episode started at the house of the 33 couple that was designed by the MADTOWN member with Christmas decorations. After entering the house, Jin Kyung was surprised upon seeing Jota in Santa Claus costume, bringing with him a bag of treats.

Jota then handed Jin Kyung a pair of gloves, a hat and a scarf to keep his on-screen wife warm during the winter season, Allkpop cited. After that, Jota and Jin Kyung took out their mission cards and turned emotional after reading the content of the letters.

The mission cards stated, "Dear Jota and Jin Kyung, today is the last day of your marriage. Enjoy your last moment as a married couple," which was followed by a few seconds of deafening silence from the 33 couple.

Breaking the stillness, Jin Kyung said, "I don't like this kind of Christmas. I don't need this," trying to hold back her tears.

During the interview, Jota revealed he felt empty upon knowing it was the end for them on "We Got Married."

While trying to get themselves together, Jota and Jin Kyung started to open the gifts under the Christmas tree, not knowing it will make them even more emotional as it contains the memories they have shared together for the past six months.

Jota and Jin Kyung read their marriage vows, reminisced the time they did Judo together, their first date at Namsan where they first held hands, and opened the treasure box where they have placed their letter for each other and photos of their trip in the farm.

The MADTOWN member handed Jin Kyung a bouquet of flowers, while the model gave Jota a book titled "Gatsby." Jin Kyung even made an effort to highlight the phrases that speak about her feelings to Jota.

On the other hand, Soompi reported Gong Myung and Jung Hye Sung will be the newest couple on "We Got Married" to replace Jota and Jin Kyung. Reports claimed the newest couple will have their first recording in Gangwon Province.

Gong is a member of 5urprise, while Jung is a model-actress who is known for her roles on "Oh My Venus" and "Love in the Moonlight." Catch the newest couple on "We Got Married" every Saturday on MBC.
