Atlus USA has started streaming on Saturday a new English "Persona 5" story trailer for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 game. The game's digital version is now available for pre-order and gives players the opportunity to get a dynamic theme along with three avatars.
"Persona 5" is slated to launch in the West on April 4, 2017, from its supposed February 14 release date. It was previously reported that developers need more time to improve and prepare the English audio, the reason why the launch was canceled in February.
Anime News Network has learned that the digital pre-orders of 'Persona 5" also comprises the "Izanagi & Izanagi Picaro Set" DLC bonus. Atlus USA will offer Japanese voice track being a free DLC which is a contrast to the original plan to launch the game having no two language options.
The "Izanagi & Izanagi Picaro Set" Persona DLC enables gamers to reveal the striking power of Persona 4's Izanagi on the different evil shadows that creep around the realm of "Persona 5". Additionally, the special Picaro version will dress up Izanagi to match the Phantom Thieves of Hearts fashionable members.
The English dub cast includes the following: Xander Mobus (protagonist), Cassandra Morris (Morgana), Max Mittelman (Ryuji Sakamoto), Erika Harlacher (Ann Takamaki), Matthew Mercer (Yusuke Kitagawa), Cherami Leigh (Makoto Niijima), Erica Lindbeck (Futaba Sakura), Xanthe Huynh (Haru Okumura), Robbie Daymond (Goro Akechi).
The story highlights the main protagonist after his life has been destroyed. Now, he must start from the beginning as the newest transfer high school student at Tokyo's Shujin Academy. He will, later on, discover his ability to intrude the hearts of the people and force them to deal with their true selves. Upon discovering his powers, the protagonist along with his boisterous group of outsider friends organizes the Phantom Thieves of Hearts to help expose the cruelty of society, according to Siliconera.
Atlus USA' American release offer for "Persona 5" is in a "Take Your Heart" Premium Edition which contains a Morgana plush, soundtrack CD, steelbook, school bag, and a hardcover artbook. The game is also offers the SteelBook Edition.
"Persona 5" will now be officially released on April 4, 2017 for PlayStation 3 and 4 in North America and Europe. The game is presently now available in Japan.
