Sexual assault controversy involving "SNL Korea" comedian Lee Se Young has yet to die down even after she and the program have released an apology to B1A4 for what happened during the boy group's appearance on the show.

On Friday, B1A4 has finally given their statement to the police authorities about the incident on "SNL Korea," Allkpop cited. According to Mapo Police Station, all members of the group submitted their written testimonies regarding the sexual assault controversy against Lee.

"The B1A4 members submitted written statements about the events that happened. It's still early in the investigation, and the details of their statements cannot be revealed," the stated said.

Meanwhile, B1A4's agency, WM Entertainment, expressed their dismay about the incident on "SNL Korea." The label said the idols were supposed to be thinking about their album promotions, but have to deal with the sexual assault controversy.

"It's disappointing that B1A4 have to be caught up in this controversy soon after their new album's release. The members want to focus on promoting their new songs," the agency expressed.

Further reports claimed INFINITE and Block B will be asked for their statements on reports associating the two groups of having the same experience as B1A4 on "SNL Korea."

Comedian Lee might be facing 10 years in jail or will pay a fine of 15 million won if proven that the sexual assault allegations are true.

Just this week, "SNL Korea" has released a second apology to B1A4, stating they have been taking measures to boosts the morale of their hosts before the show even started. However, the staff admitted that a staff recently refused to comply with the standard, Soompi.

"Some members of our crew acted out of order recently, and their wrongful actions have caused displeasure to many people. We sincerely apologize for that. We do not believe that Lee Se Young was the only one at fault," the apology stated.

"SNL Korea" also admitted they have failed to recognize the issue immediately, owning up that they even posted the controversial video on their Facebook account. Hence, the show said they will take the incident as an opportunity to reflect about the acts and will make sure that the incident will not happen again.
