The long wait is over as "Dreamfall Chapters" for PS4 and Xbox One gets a release date. Players finally get the conclusion of the "The Longest Journey" storyline.
Ahead of "Dreamfall Chapters" PS4 and Xbox One version release date, gameplay details for these consoles are now out. Players will be welcomed with "reworked character models, improved animations, lighting, special effects, and sound effects, and an expanded in-game soundtrack," PlayStation Lifestyle reported.
Deep Silver and developer Red Thread Games also noted that PC version contents will be the same on the PS4 and Xbox One consoles. Players get to enjoy over one hundred-voiced character as well as fifty refreshed settings. In addition, characters will be playable across the world, through life and through their heart and soul and cyberpunk realm Riddles and puzzles are still part of the game as it plays an important part of the game's plot. Cyberpunk world with a touch of magical fantasy awaits its players. With that being said, more details will be revealed about Stark and Arcadia's story, Eurogamer reported.
"Dreamfall Chapters" continues the story of the "The Longest Story" saga. The story Zoe Castillo ended in 2006 with a cliffhanger. A Kickstarter has been initiated in 2013 to continue the storyline as fans clamor for a conclusion. It was originally planned that the game will be released as a single title. However, Deep Silver split up the episodes and took over eighteen months to complete the series. The PC version of the game was released in 2014 on Steam and will be hitting consoles in Spring 2017.
"Dreamfall Chapters" for PS4 and Xbox One is slated for a March 24, 2017, release date. The pack will include all five episodes and a total of 13 chapters. It will be available in digital and retail stores for $29.99.
