Former DICE and Ubisoft employees produce their first game called ‘Games of Glory’

A group of former DICE and Ubisoft employees formed a developer group called Lightbulb Crew and soon enough they'll be releasing their first game called "Games of Glory."

According to IGN, the Lightbulb Crew is a strategy game development company based in Paris and Stockholm and they were able to provide some details about "Games of Glory" in a press release Wednesday morning.

Players can choose among 15 characters across five general character classes, with each possessing a variety of skills. There's also a huge selection of weapons reaching to around 50 different guns and melee weapons to deliver all kinds of destruction. Battles, so far, will only cover 3v3 or 5v5 types of matches.

The game's Steam page was able to do a breakdown of the game:

  • Aim all of your shots with pure skill (no auto-attack)
  • Wide selection and instant switching of weapons (weapons not Clone specific)
  • Run & gun mechanics
  • Two unique game maps and modes: Svandia "Superstar" (Protect the VIP) and Arkashan "Conquest" (Capture the points)
  • A unique feature to create your own Club and represent them in the arena
  • A selection of 12 Clones (characters) with unique skills, abilities, and roles (Assassin, Tank, Support,...)
  • A selection of 50 different weapons (daggers, sniper, rifles, mini-guns, rocket launchers, ...)
  • Playable with mouse or keyboard (WASD) controls
  • Mix-and-match or personalize skins and hats
