The battle for better hardware this holiday shopping season for mobile phones just got better with the latest leaked release on Meizu. The popular Asian brand for mobile phones is expected to release Meizu M5 Note and a metal variant soon at an attractive price range.

Meizu M5 Note Price Leaked!

Meizu is known for their competitively priced mobile phone and gadgets as they often come with premium specs at a mid-range price. The latest leak continues the trend with the popular Asian brand announcing in advance to their retailers the Suggested Retail Price (SRP) for their Meizu M5 Note and its metal counterpart.

According to Mobi Picker, the leak came from a reliable leaker on Weibo under the username @KJuma. The leaker posted what looks like a corporate email from Meizu announcing the suggested retail price for the upcoming devices. According to the leaked screenshot, the Meizu M5 Note will take customers back CNY 999 ($145) while the metal version should command a CNY 1099 ($160) SRP.

Budget Friendly, Aggressive Specs

The leaked price of the upcoming mobile device is already gaining attention and the specs that comes with it should seal the deal. According to NDTV, Meizu will have three types on configurations of the two variants. The base version comes with 2GB/16GB RAM/Storage combo and the highest configuration is 4GB/64GB and will also come with a higher battery capacity.

But even with the variation of RAM and storage, all Meizu M5 Note phones will feature MediaTek HelioP10 as its processor. Touting itself as a true octa-core processor, the mobile phones running HelioP10 should be a beast to be reckoned with. Aside from the impressive internals, the upcoming device is also expected to feature 13MP rear camera with 5MP front camera.

It's also good to know that Meizu is expecting a demand for such a high end mobile phone with mid-range price. The device is expected to retail on December 6 after the official announcement on the same day and the company has already produced 20 million units. If the demand is strong enough outside China, Meizu could end up producing more to cater to increasing international demand.
