Blizzard's "WarCraft"-themed digital card game "Hearthstone" continues to expand with its latest add-on, "Mean Streets of Gadgetzan," which launches on Thursday, Dec. 1.

A livestream on the event shared that that Blizzard's very own Matt Place shared the date of the "Mean Streets of Gadgetzan" expansion, based on the recent reports of Gamespot. The expansion is said to introduce a number of cards (with a quantity of 132 cards, to be exact) and three new factions, which are the Grimy Goons, Kabal, and Jade Lotus. There are classes that to belong to each of those factions and will be able to only use cards belong to only said faction.

Players can now pre-order the 50 packs through Battle.net for a discounted price of $50. However, there is only one available 50-pack available at this price for each account. The packs won't also be available until the "Mean Streets of Gadgetzan" expansion opens on Thursday. But, at least, the pack would be worth the wait since it guarantees that at least one of its five cards will be Rare or better.

The expansion also introduces the tri-class cards. Blizzard game designer Dean Ayala mentions that the team "is making sure the classes feel different from one another." With the tri-class card, they can blend features from different classes into one another.

"The fact that we take each class's identity so seriously, when we're able to splash a little bit of mage in priest or vice versa," said Ayala. "I think it's pretty exciting. You can have fireball in priests, or you can get a healing spell for the mage or warlock, I think that's really exciting. The idea of being able to splash a little bit of another class's theme in your class was just a really cool idea to us."
