When asked about his acting and singing careers, Seo In Guk was firm about his answer that the two crafts are important to him. However, he revealed people see him more as an actor rather than a singer.
"Many people ask me which one I like more. I think it's a question that's based on things that are visible [to the public]. You see, I was even producing until late last night before coming here," he said according to Soompi.
Seo revealed acting is as important as singing, adding that he is fully aware that he is more associated to acting because of his promotional activities. In fact, Seo starred in the recently ended drama series "Shopping King Louie" alongside Nam Ji Hyun, Yoon Sang Hyun and Im Se Mi.
The singer-actor added he produces music when not filming. However, Seo emphasized he does not do both simultaneously. "If I release an album while I'm currently working on a drama or film production, then that's inconveniencing the production," Seo shared.
He continued, "I want to show myself solely through the drama when I'm working on one, and vice versa, I want to show myself through an album when I release one."
After the conclusion of "Shopping King Louie," Seo added he plans to serve his mandatory military next year, Allkpop cited. Although the specific date was not yet given, Seo said he wants to start his service after getting conscripted.
"People I know told me that I'll adjust well when I go to the military. And everyone serves in the military so I just want to quietly enlist if I can," Seo shared, adding that he is planning to do something for his fans before his mandatory military service.
