Next week fans of The CW's biggest superheroes are in for a treat as the "Supergirl" episode on Monday will cross over with "The Flash," "Legends of the Fall," and "Arrow."

Aliens have invaded Earth and are hell bent on annihilating the humans and the only thing that can stop them are the superheroes of The CW, E! Online reported. The creepy aliens, called the Dominators, are so formidable that it has brought together superheroes from The CW's "Supergirl," "The Flash," "Legends of the Fall," and "Arrow."

The cross over is titled "Heroes vs Aliens" and it will bring the heroes through different universes to defeat the invading Dominators, Digital Spy reported. These aliens have mind control powers, which makes it more challenging for the protagonists.

The story will be aired for four nights from Monday to Thursday in each of the shows new episode.

The trailer surely captures the hearts of the fans of each show. It was filled with special effects, explosive action sequences, and strong one-liners. One scene shows Barry giving a motivational speech, which could mean all hope is gone.

Marc Guggenheim, the producer of "Legends of Tomorrow" and "Arrow" said that the exciting crossover shows were inspired by DC comic book crossover in the 1980s called "Invasion." The classic comic book is about an alien race that has been vexing the Legion of Superheroes in the past, Guggenheim said.

To make sure that they stick to the feel of the 1980s comic book characters, which was interpreted by artist Todd McFarlane, the show runners used a lot of cutting-edge prosthetics and high tech computer graphics, according to Guggenheim. This way, they will also give the TV series a more film-quality look.

The "Arrow" episode that will cover the crossover is also the shows 100th episode. To celebrate that achievement, fans will see familiar characters like Deathstroke, Ollie's parents Susana and Robert, the Black Canary, and other long-dead characters.

The first episode that will feature the crossover is "Supergirl," which will air on Monday, followed by "The Flash on Tuesday, "Arrow" on Wednesday, and "Legends of Tomorrow on Thursday.
