Out of the original 151 Pokemons to be included in Niantic Labs' mobile craze, the "Pokemon Go", only one is left to be uncatchable. This is no other than the shape-changing Ditto, which is recently found to make an appearance in the game after months of ceaseless search by devoted players.

This break was confirmed by IGN, as correspondent, Brendad Graeber, was personally able to catch a Ditto this week. Players have expressed through interaction in Reddit how a Ditto reveals itself after disguising as Magikarp, Rattata, Zubat, and Pidgey. Ditto is a non-legendary Pokemon which is known to duplicate the appearance and abilities of other Pokemon it faces in battle.

Fortunately, "Pokemon Go" developer, Niantic Labs, gave an official statement and verification with Polygon on Nov. 23, Wednesday regarding the availability of Ditto on the game. They confirmed that the Pokemon cannot be caught in its original form, as it takes the appearance of various characters; thus will only reveal itself after being captured. Furthermore, once it takes the form of the opponent during battle, it will remain as that Pokemon for the rest of the particular gym battle.

Earlier this month, reports released that data miners at The Silph Road have observed that a signature move called Transform appeared in the data of the game. This move is closely associated with Ditto, making it replicate the opposing Pokemon during battle. The added Pokemon is said to maintain a significantly high combat power, as remarked by players.

In addition to the app updates, legendary Pokemon such as Mewtwo, Moltres, Zapdos and Articuno are set to be launched soon, as earlier declared by the game developer. Moreover, a new feature of the game called Nearby is already available in The United States (except Alaska and Hawaii), Canada, and Australia. This feature will appear only when a PokeStop is nearby.
