Case closed for Brad Pitt as FBI clears him of child abuse. Just last month Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Service also cleared him of the same charges.

The FBI cleared him of any wrongdoings after he was accused of hitting his son Maddox, 15, on a plane journey last September with his family, including wife Angelina Jolie, Vogue reported. The FBI got involved in the case since the incident happened on a plane. Brad and his legal team have been denying these allegations about him and his son's altercation.

FBI released a statement saying they have conducted a review on the issue following a special flight with a jurisdiction in the United States that landed in Los Angeles. No further charges have been filed so far on this incident.

According to reports, the FBI also interviewed Angelina for four hours as agents asked her about the issue in her house at Los Angeles last October 18.

Child abuse or not, whatever happened was definitely enough to end the relationship of power couple Brangelina. Jolie was the one who filed for divorce a day after the event, NY Mag reported. Their break up became so controversial that made the headlines all over the world. After the incident the two have been laying low from the public.

A representative from the side of Angeline Jolie said that the stars have agreed that she will have custody over the six children and Brad can visit his children under the supervision of a therapist.

Brad and Angelina have been married for two years and have had romantic relationship since 2005. Jolie said the decision for divorce was made for the welfare and health of the family. Sources close to the couple said the DCFS brokered the custody plan after investigating the incident with Brad agreeing to voluntarily undergo drug and alcohol testing.

After the news about the incident broke out, Brad released a statement saying that he was very saddened by what happened, but he said that the most important thing is his children's well being. He also requested that the press would give his children space during this tough time.
