The upcoming animated film "Justice League Dark" by Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment will be released on Blu-ray and DVD early next year.

Those who would order the Deluxe Giftset Blu-ray release will get the exclusive Constantine figurine and plenty of extra content, such as several featurettes. The ones that are most notable are the early glimpses of the next DC Universe Original Movies thatare "Teen Titans: The Judas Contract," "Justice League: Gods and Monsters" and "Justice League: Doom." The giftset would cost at a suggested retail price of $39.99, according to IGN.

Another pack is the Blu-ray Combo Pack, which includes all the aforementioned features above except the Constantine figure and costs $24.98. A standard DVD option only includes the sneak peek to the "Teen Titans: The Judas Contract" film, and costs $19.98.

Before the release on Blu-ray and DVD, "Justice League Dark" is going to be available on Digital HD in January 2017 at cost of $19.99 in HD and $14.99 in SD.

Earlier reports mention that the film will be another R-Rated film following the mixed success/failure of "Batman: The Killing Joke." This next film will be directed by Jay Oliva ("Batman: The Dark Knight Returns") and written J.M. DeMatteis and Ernie Altbacker ("Green Lantern: The Animated Series").

The film will have "disturbing violence," earning its rating. "My main goal was to make a horror movie with superheroes in it," the director Oliva explained. "That's basically what we're doing. There's still action. It's more like action-horror than anything, but we tried to have some scares, and make it feel different from what we've done in the past." With Justice League Dark, Oliva can show new, darker, and stranger corners of the DC Animated Universe. Let's hope the animated feature lives up to its potential in that regard.

"Justice League Dark" will be having voice actor Jason O'Mara back as Batman and joining him are Constantine (Matt Ryan), Zatanna (Camilla Luddington), Deadman (Nicholas Turturro), Swamp Thing (Roger R. Cross), and Jason Blood/Etrigan (Ray Chase) to combat against the supernatural terror that plagues the innocents.
