It was confirmed that the 2017 Mazda CX-5 Diesel will soon arrive in the US. The car maker manufacturer, Mazda will bring its 2.2-liter Skyactiv-D diesel engine in the second quarter of 2017 which was unveiled at the LA auto show.
Previously, it was reported that the diesel engine will arrive in North America but did not state if the US is included. "It has taken longer than we expected to launch this engine, but this blend of power and emissions sophistication was critical," Mazda executive vice president Akira Marumoto said at the press conference, as reported by MotorTrend.
The 2017 CX-5 according to Mazda is fully redesigned with a more raked rear end and slender taillights. Looking at the front, the 2017 Mazda CX-5 suggests of more refined headlights with the whole body that is covered in multiple layers of Soul Red Crystal paint color.
Motor Authority has learned that Mazda will likewise bring a new paint color technology that will represent a transformation in terms of the paint techniques that Mazda is trying to perfect. The 2017 Mazda CX-5 is finished either with the Soul Red or Machine Gray color with the application of "Takuminuri" paint technology. Mazda stated that the diesel engine will provide hybrid levels of fuel efficiency and is enforcing claimed technologies to make certain that the diesel will run on the road with no noise as much as possible.
