It looks like another "Harry Potter" franchise will span another saga, as "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" will be spanning to five films and Warner Bros. has decided director David Yates to helm the entire series.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Yates mentioned that (for now) he'll be committing himself to direct the entire prequel series of the "Harry Potter" universe. Additionally, he doesn't find it overwhelming at all, which is fitting since he directed the last four "Harry Potter" films and the upcoming "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them."

"I love making films, and I've got a great team, all of whom are like family," said Yates in an interview. "I only look at it movie to movie."

Just going a little bit ahead of themselves, Yates also tackled a bit of the "Fantastic Beasts" sequels and script that "Harry Potter" author J.K. Rowling had penned. One thing that the director can promise is that the sequel will have a completely different feel from the first film, having a darker and haunting tone. But, just like the whole "Harry Potter" franchise, the movie will still have the sense of lightheartedness and wonder in spite of the new approach.

The sequel to "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" is said to have Albus Dumbledore to return to the franchise, albeit a much younger since this is the prequel saga, according to IGN. No actor has been given the role of the headmaster of Hogwarts yet, but fans have been delighted to hear that Johnny Depp is said to take a major in the "Harry Potter" prequels as Gellert Grindelwald, the bitter rival of Dumbledore.

"Fantastic Beasts 2" is said to premiere on Nov. 16, 2018, while the first movie in the prequel saga will hit theaters this year on Nov. 18.
