After her management contract with Fantagio Entertainment ended in October, South Korean actress Kim Sae Ron is reportedly moving to one of Korea’s popular talent label, YG Entertainment.
According to reports, an insider revealed that the actress’ side is currently having negotiations and meetings with YG Entertainment as prior steps to her upcoming management transfer. While some news sites have already confirmed that Kim is already part of the label, no confirmation was announced by both parties yet.
Fantagio, on the other hand, has tried to convince the former child star to extend her contract with the talent agency. However, Kim chose to decline the offer to move to another management.
Kim was recently chosen as one of new hosts in MBC’s variety show “Show! Music Core” alongside Hallyu stars Cha Eun Woo and Lee Soo Min. The said artists replaced actor Kim Min Jae who was the former MC of the program.
"I can't believe it. It feels like I started 'Show! Music Core' just the other day. I was really happy to have spent time with 'Music Core' every week. I thank the directors, producers, writers, and fans. I also thank Sae Ron. I'll greet you all on better projects. Thank you very much," said Kim in an interview as quoted by All KPop.
The actress made her first acting project at the age of 8 after joining the 2009 film “A Brand New Life”. She rose to fame through the TV drama series “Can You Hear My Heart”, “The Queen's Classroom” and “Hi! School-Love On”.
