The Infinity Stones is the glue to the #itsallconnected narrative of all MCU films leading to the "Avengers: Infinity Wars." As it is, "Doctor Strange" just unveiled the location of another one.

As the phases of MCU went by, keeping track of the Infinity Stones became more important as ever. Marvel boss Kevin Feige had been upfront in saying that all of the Infinity Stones will make an appearance in Phase 3 films, Comic Book Resources, reported.

So far, 5 out of the 6 stones had been revealed in MCU films. Here's a rundown of their current locations:

1.     Time Stone. The Time Stone is the latest Infinity Stone shown in the recently released "Doctor Strange." It is kept in a pendant known as the "Eye of Agamotto" presumably to hide it from external threats who could cause irreparable damage to the space-time continuum.

2.     The Space Stone. The space stone was initially seen in "Thor." This stone provides the ability to create teleportation portals. It had been originally guarded by Odin, the King of Asgard and its Nine Realms until it was lost on Earth a thousand years ago. It is encased in a cube known as the Tesseract.

3.     Power Stone. The Power stone was left abandoned in a dead planet known as Morag until it was snatched by Peter Quill also known as "Star-Lord" in "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1." After almost being taken away by the Kree known as Ronan The Accuser, it was handed over to the Nova Corps, the armed forces of the mighty Nova Empire.

4.     Reality Stone. The Reality Stone was shown as the Aether in "Thor: The Dark World." It is described as an "ancient force of infinite destruction. The scope of its powers is yet unknown. Originally, it was held by Malekith, the leader of the Dark Elves. Since then, the stone had been turned over of Taneleer Tivan "The Collector" who is seen in "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1"

5.     Mind Stone. The Mind Stone was introduced in "Avengers: Age of Ultron." It was located inside a scepter that Thanos loaned to Loki along with a massive force that failed to conquer Earth. It was originally under the custody of S.H.I.E.L.D but when the agency fell into the hands of Hydra, the Avengers had to tack it down resulting in the creation of The Vision.

6.     Soul Stone. The Soul Stone is yet to be revealed in the MCU. It current location and capabilities are yet to be known, Screen Rant reported.

However, there are several upcoming films where it could make an appearance including "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2," "Spider-Man: Homecoming" and "Thor: Ragnarok."
