"American Crime" Season 3 will delve on labor issues, economic divides and individual rights in North Carolina. The series will continue with original cast members Felicity Huffman, Timothy Hutton, Regina King, Lili Taylor, Benito Martinez, Richard Cabral and Connor Jessup.

The show has recruited 'White Collar" actor Tim DeKay to play a recurring role in Season 3. According to Deadline, DeKay will portray a relative to Cherry Jones' character. Jones was earlier cast as a matriarch of a large family agricultural operation.

DeKay co-starred with Matt Bomer on USA Network's "White Collar" in 2009. His recent TV credits include "Marvel's Agents of SHIELD," "Second Chance," "Revenge," and "Body of Proof."

DeKay will be joined by "The Walking Dead" actor Dallas Roberts, who's also set to appear in a recurring basis throughout Season 3. According to the site, Dallas has been cast as Carson Hesby, the husband of Jeanette Hesby (Huffman).

Roberts was known for playing Milton Mamet, one of the trusted allies of the Governor on "The Walking Dead" Season 3. He also appeared on other TV shows such as "The Good Wife" and "Unforgettable."

The duo will join previously announced guest cast Sandra Oh. The "Grey's Anatomy" actress will play Abby Tanaka, a social worker who has dedicated her life to helping victims of domestic abuse.

"American Crime" is a crime anthology series that deals with race, class and gender politics examined through the personal lives of the players involved. The series was created and executive produced by John Ridley (12 Years A Slave).

"American Crime" Season 3 is slated to premiere sometime in 2017.
