"The Flash" actress Danielle Panabaker dished on the threat posed by invading alien Dominators in the upcoming "Arrowverse" crossover.
Team Flash will face the biggest threats they would have to face so far with the Dominators. In an interview, Panabaker said that she is looking forward to the villains in the upcoming crossover event.
"The biggest fear for Caitlin and for Team Flash is how powerful they are and how much of an unknown they are," she said then added, "We're only getting used to dealing with metahumans with these powers that have generally come from the particle accelerator explosion, or Doctor Alchemy, and those are formulas we're a little more used to. Having these guys come in from who knows where, the biggest question mark for all of them is starting to figure out how they're going to battle them," Entertainment Weekly reported.
For the uninitiated, Dominators, collectively known as Dominion are an alien race that are highly technologically advanced. In the comic books, the Dominators launched the Allien Alliance that invaded the Earth. They think that the unpredictable evolutionary tendencies of metahumans on Earth poses a great danger to the Universe.
Executive Producer Marc Guggenheim had said that the upcoming crossover event between "Arrow," "The Flash," "Legends of Tomorrow" and "Supergirl" will be very faithful to the source material, Comic Book Resources reported. However, Guggenheim clarified that the event will not set up other spinoffs but hinted that the plot of "The Flash" and "Legends of Tomorrow" will come to fruition.
The upcoming crossover event will debut in an episode called "Invasion" for each of the shows within "Arrowverse." Watch the video below for more information about the Dominators:
