"Mass Effect: Andromeda" won't land on the Nintendo Switch list of games, as the game developer announced the supported platforms.

In a recent tweet from BioWare, it stated that the upcoming third-person shooting game will be available to PlayStation 4, PC, PlayStation Pro and Xbox One.

As per this announcement, fans are now skeptical whether the "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will be playable on Nintendo Switch in the near future.

In addition, "Mass Effect" series producer Michael Gamble also showed the uncertainty of bringing the title to the upcoming hybrid console. He said in an interview that he can only speak of the company's current plans, Gamespresso reported.

This news may have caused disappointment to some, but fans who can't wait to get their hands on the Nintendo Switch may look forward to other games like "Just Dance" 2017.

It was also shown on the Nintendo Switch ad that an upcoming game "Super Mario" game will be playable along with the "The Legend of Zelda: Breath Wild," "Mario Kart" and "Splatoon."

However, Nintendo warned fans about the confirmed Nintendo NX title "Legend of Zelda: Breath Wild" not to assume that its gameplay was the actual game footage shown in the ad.

"At a later date, before the March launch, we'll be talking about things like exact launch date, and of course, the games," Nintendo said.

Moreover, third-party games such as "Skyrim Special Edition" and "NBA 2K17" were also featured in the promotional ad.

Assumptions arise that these titles will also support the platform, but as a third-party provider, neither 2K nor Bethesda did not confirm of bringing the game to the console. Although they've announced their partnership to Nintendo and expressed their support to the Nintendo Switch, according to Forbes.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" has been leaked to come out in the first quarter of next year while Nintendo Switch is slated for March 2017 release.
