Apple Watch, Mac, iPhone 7 compatible with the new OS update; Rumors for iPhone 8 release date revealed

Recently, Apple released a new software update for their smart watch which upgrades the OS' current version watchOS 3 to watchOS 3.1. The new OS update has been available more than one month after watchOS 3 was made available for their public.

Since Sept. 21, Apple has been testing watchOS 3.1 and have seeded three betas before launching, as reported by MacRumors. Designed to improve performance and to fix bugs issues, watchOS 3.1 can be downloaded through the Apple Watch app on the iPhone by going to General - > Software Update.

To install the update, the Apple Watch must have at least a battery of 50 percent, or be placed on charger, and must be in range of the iPhone. An iPhone running an iOS 10 or later is required to download the update, but the update is available for all Apple Watch models.

macOS Sierra 10.12.1, the first update to the macOS Sierra operating system launched one day before the launching of watchOS 3.1. The update is now available to all customers running the macOS Sierra operating system.

The update includes photos support for the new iPhone 7 Plus Portrait feature as well designed for upcoming MacBook Pro models that are slated for release later this year. The updates adds an automatic smart album features for depth effect images taken on the iPhone 7 Plus.

Meanwhile, in the United Kingdom, rumors for the next iPhone 8 is already heating up. The speculations started after the Apple unveiled the new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus September of this year.

Fans of the well-loved iPhone are already looking forward to 2017 for a big iPhone launch. As reported by MacWorld UK, analysts at Credit Suisse have forecast the released of the iPhone 8 during iPhone's 10th year anniversary in 2017.

The iPhone 8 is speculated to feature a "significant innovations" such as a full glass OLED screen, new and upgraded haptic feedback features, wireless charging, and more including its camera and processor. 250 million units is predicted to be sold in 2018 fiscal year as the iPhone 8 will be unveiled finally in September 2018.
