Tom Cruise threw up on 'Top Gun' training; actor talks of possible sequel to 1986 film

Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise talked about the hilarious first flight training he had for the movie "Top Gun." Actor recounts how test pilot named "Bozo" made him throw up.

During a recent talk show stint to promote his latest movie "Jack Reacher: Never Go Back," the actor who is known to do his own dangerous action stunts revealed that he puked during his first flight training, Entertainment Weekly reported.

The critically acclaimed action superstar recounted how he and the pilot named "Bozo" were going really hard. He had a vomit bag beside him which he fills in between takes. He said his head was literally on the ground because of the pressure and that it was getting difficult for him to breathe as the pilot named just kept the plane climbing up and up.

Tom Cruise was talking about his training for iconic role in the 1986 movie Top Gun, which after release, raised the enrolment to the US Navy by 500%. Cruise donned his leather jacket and Ray Ban aviator shades for the film which immediately catapulted his career to greater heights.

Fans have been clamoring for a sequel to the film but it has been a no-go as the first movie was too expensive to produce despite its $171 million US box office success. However, Cruise said that if the script is right, then he's willing to reprise Lt. Pete 'Maverick' Mitchell's role, People reported.

But nothing has been set in stone yet. Tom Cruise remained tight-lipped if there will be a sequel to the 30 year old film or not. Although last year, there was a rumor circulating around the Internet since last year that the production company Skydance, the company behind some Mission Impossible movies, has hired "The Jungle Book" writer Justin Marks to do the screenplay for the sequel.

Big time movie producer Jerry Bruckheimer also said if they're going to remake Top Gun, it wouldn't be without the superstar Tom Cruise.

The 54-year-old actor who's always down to play games with TV hosts recently re-played his top 5 unforgettable movie stunts with comedian James Corden as he does his PR rounds for his latest film Jack Reacher.
