Houston Rockets point guard Bobby Brown apologize for his reckless act during his visit with the team to China. He made a graffiti in the Great Wall of China and posted in in social media.

Brown apologize to the public for his negligent act which has drawn public uproar in China. The action itself is considered a vioation of law in China, specifically the Protection of the Great Wall Act.

Brown and the Rockets were in China for the NBA's Global Game in China, which will be held on Oct. 12 against New Orleans Pelicans. During a sightseeing trip in the Great Wall of China, the 32-year old player suddenly felt like a teenager. He wrote a little graffiti in the wall and took the picture of his graffiti, his initial and his jersey number.

Later on he posted the picture in his Weibo, a China's equivalent of Twitter, as reported by China Radio International. He wrote the caption, "Had a blast at the Great Wall of China today."

His action caused a public commotion in China, as Chinese netizens attacked him saying he vandalized the Chinese cultural relics. Afterward he apologized through his Weibo account. He said that his act was done unconsciously, and he asked for forgiveness from the public in China.

China is a big market for NBA and every year, NBA held a regular game in China since 2004. This time the game was held between Houston Rockets v. New Orleans Pelicans, according to NBA official press release.

The 2016 NBA Global Game China held two exhibition matches in Shanghai and Beijing. The Shanghai game was held on Oct. 9 at the Mercedes-Benz Arena, followed by a rematch in Oct. 12 at The LeSports Center, Beijing.

In the second game, Houston Rockets swept New Orleans Pelicans 116-104. Rockets also won the first game in Shanghai 123-117. Pelicans also received a bad news after their center Anthony Davis sprained his ankle which would make him miss the remaining preseason games, and possibly the Pelicans first regular season game against Denver Nuggets on Oct. 26.
