"One Punch Man" sure is a big hit to fans slating it for a second season in the near future. The announcement was made during the "One Punch Man Fall Festival" event on Sunday by the staff and cast.

The manga began as a classic webcomic by the mysterious ONE (his pseudonym). It enveloped Saitama's life, a man who wants to be a hero just for amusement. His only concern is that he can triumph over any opponent with just a punch, which according to him is very boring. Yusuke Murata wrote and tailored the anime into a manga. The version was extraordinary because the drawings depict the action sequences similar to anime, leading to a manga that has a tremendous dynamic sense to it, as cited by Forbes.

"One Punch Man's" Season 1 contains 12 episodes and was largely famous when it was released in Japan and abroad, particularly in the West. The first season is streamed through Hulu and Daisuki and made its path to Adult Swim's Toonami in July.

According to Anime News Network, Madhouse along with director Shingo Natsume's initial 12 episodes, broadcasted in Japan from October to December 2015. The anime debuted with an English dub on July 16.

The manga is presently proceeding on the spinoff website of Shueisha's free Tonari no Young Jump. Viz Media digitally publishes the original manga series on its Weekly Shonen Jump anthology and releases the series in hard copy. On Sept. 6, the publishing company released the manga's eight collected volume, while Shueisha published on June 3 the 11th collected volume.

There were six original video games in the Japanese Blu-ray Disc and DVD volumes, and the 10th volume was shipped in December with an Original Video Animation (OVA).

Fans are more than eager to know a lot about the coming of Season 2. The information as of the moment is scarce, but it will be greater than the first season of course. For now, fans should be content with the good news and just wait for further details.
