With all the buzz that's been going on with "Call of Duty Infinite Warfare," fans will be glad to hear that Activision has announced the multiplayer's beta version scheduled release date and unlock codes for the PS4 and Xbox One.
According to Express UK, PlayStation 4 owners will be able to play the beta from 6 PM UK time (that's 10 AM PST) on Oct. 14 until 6 PM UK time (10 AM PST) on Oct. 17. There will be a second beta for both PS4 and Xbox One that will run from 6 PM UK time (10 AM PST) on Oct. 21 to 6 PM UK time (10 AM PST) on Oct. 24.
Although the beta will not be available on the PC, Call of Duty fans who own either the PS4 or Xbox One can pre-order the game earlier than its November release date. Doing so will grant them the beta code, which can be redeemed by paying a visit to the official Call of Duty website. Players can also check the website for the status of the beta.
In related news from Metro, "Infinite Warfare" will be improving numerous features from "Advanced Warfare" and "Black Ops 3." One feature is picking and mixing specialists (something improved from "Black Ops 3"), where players can pick and choose between your weapon and ability, giving them an opportunity to craft and experiment different combinations. Other features mentioned are better multiplayer experiences and an immersive single player campaign.
Players can get their hands on "Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered," which is only available to the pre-purchases of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Legacy, Legacy Pro, and Digital Deluxe Editions.
