"Elementary" Season 4 Episode 8 features a murder mystery that resembles murders committed by an incarcerated serial killer. Meanwhile, Det. Marcus Bell and Dr. Joan Watson's growing closeness irritates Sherlock Holmes. Here are spoilers for the upcoming segment, titled "A Burden of Blood." Read on to find out what happens next.

According to Spoiler TV's description for "Elementary" Season 4 Episode 8, Sherlock and Watson will be taking on a new case of homicide. The way the murder has been carried out is similar to the ways of another serial killer. But the serial killer is in a prison. The two of them are on a hunt to find the truth and bring justice.
At the same time, Det. Bell is aiming for a promotion. Sherlock and Watson assist Det. Bell in studying for the upcoming police sergeant's exam. If he clears the exam, he will not only be promoted but also be transferred to another precinct.
However, Sherlock has greater concerns to deal with in Episode 8. The detective realises that Watson and Bell might be spending too much time together. It irks him to think that they might be closer than he could imagine.
Sherlock is determined that this stops for professional or a personal reason, but he is not 100 percent sure if what he is imagining is true. A promo video obtained by TV Line shows an agitated Sherlock Holmes. He is desperate to find out the truth, but the possibility of things being unreal stops him.
As noted by the publication, Watson, in a way, denies her involvement with Bell but Sherlock may not be convinced. Will Sherlock be able to solve this mystery?
