Known for her flawless bare face, the 26-year old actress has been chosen as the new face of the makeup brand 9wishes. Baek has been tagged as elegant yet clear and clean by the company.
Just recently, a representative from 9wishes revealed that Baek have an elegant yet clear and clean image which matches well with the image of the brand. "The brand focuses on the beauty of a complexion that radiates from good health, so she was chosen as the model," AllKpop quoted. The makeup brand is also excited to be able to naturally appeal with their consumers with their new model.
On the Sept. 7 episode of "Get It Beauty" it was reported that the actress revealed her flawless bare face removing all of her makeup. Baek likes to wear makeup who appears natural, stressing that it will suite people who do not like to wear heavy makeup.
In other news, Korean media outlet Ilgan Sports recently examined which neighborhoods Hallyu stars and celebrities choose to live in and how much it costs. Korean celebrities are typically expected to live in Gangnam, an expensive and trendy district in Seoul, however, due to privacy and space, many celebrities are choosing to live in quieter neighborhoods like Gangbuk, Seongsudong and Geumhodong.
Actress Kim Soo Hyun and Bigbang's G-Dragon are currently residing in Gangbuk, a neighboring district of Gangnam. In 2013, Kim bought a 2335 sq. ft for 4.2 million KRW ($3.5 million USD) and is often seen by neighbors going grocery shopping by himself or with his manager, Soompi reported.
Baek is reportedly living in Geumhodong, a neighborhood under the Seongdong District along with actors Lee Kwang Soo, Park Seo Joon, Jun Hyun Moo and couple Ahn Jae Hyun and Ku Hye Sun. However, despite the trend to live in quieter place many are still choosing Gangnam to live in.
Just for example, Hallyu star Song Joong Ki, lives in luxury villa located in Seorae Village in Seocho District which is part of Gangnam. His house cost about 2.5 million KRW ($2.2 million USD). Couple Won Bin and Lee Na Young, Go Hyun Jung and Lee Seo Jin are reportedly neighbors of the Hallyu star.
