"Supergirl" has cast "The 100" actress Dichen Lachman to play the role of Roulette in Season 2.

According to Comic Book, Lachman will arrive in National City to play the DC supervillain who operates a metahuman fight club. As to how Roulette will figure into "Supergirl" Season 2, the CW teased that her eagerness to get the titular superhero in the ring will play a key role.

"Based on the classic DC Comics character, Roulette runs an underground alien fight club in National City and she is eager to get Supergirl in the ring," reads Lachman's official character description.

Lachman will join previously cast Frederick Schmidt on "Supergirl" Season 2. According to Entertainment Weekly, Schmidt will play the role of Superman's old foe, Metallo in the new installment. "When international assassin John Corben is badly injured after taking on both Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) and Superman (Tyler Hoechlin), he is reborn by a shadow organization into the Kryptonite-powered supervillain Metallo," the site revealed.

Schmidt will appear in at least two episodes, beginning with the Season 2 premiere of "Supergirl."

The arrival of Superman in the new season is one of the central plots of "Supergirl" Season 2, and his presence in National City will prove to be a challenge for his cousin, Kara. Previewing their dynamic, executive producer Andrew Kreisberg said that they are embracing Superman's overwhelming presence in the series.

"People have asked us how do you make sure that Superman doesn't overwhelm the lead of your show? Rather than shy away from that, we're embracing it," the showrunner said.

"It's kind of the idea like, yeah, he is more popular than she is. How does she deal with that? That's our take on that dynamic that's between them."

"Supergirl" Season 2 premieres on Monday, Oct. 18 at 8PM on the CW.
