Philadephia 76ers is reported to prepare to trade one of their young big men, Jahlil Okafor or Nerlens Noel. Especially the Sixers have signed veteran forward Elton Brand for one year to strengthen the team's frontcourt.

Last season, the Sixers tried to experiment twin towers line up with Okafor and Noel. However the team have come to conclusion that these two big men simply didn't work well on the court. As they performed less than expectation. Therefore, Sixers plan to trade either one of them.

This is not a surprising news according to CBS Sport, because both players have been involved in trade rumors since last season. Regardless of all the rumors, both Noel and Okafor has not been traded yet, and the Sixers look forward to high price because of their high draft picks. Noel was drafted sixth overall in 2013, while Okafor was the third overall pick in 2015.

One of the reason to trade one of them is the abundance of big men in the current Philadelphia's roster. They already have Joel Embiid and Dario Saric. Furhtermore, the Sixers drafted Ben Simmons this year, so their frontcourt is already overcrowd.

Moreover, last week Sixers re-signed veteran forward and two-time All-Star Elton Brand for another year as SLAM reported. Sixers had high expectation for the 37-year forward to lead the young players and share his experience.

Brand was a number one pick in 1999 when Chicago Bulls drafted him. In his entire career, he had played for many teams. Aside from Sixers and Bulls, there were also Los Angeles Clippers, Dallas Mavericks and Atlanta Hawks.

In January this year, after announcing his retirement in August 2015, Brand decided to return to NBA. Hesigned up with the Sixers for one season. The 6'9" veteran forward is known for his rebound and shot block, utilizing his advantage in athleticism and wingspan. He is one of the elite rebounders in the NBA history who has made over 9,000 rebounds in his career.

With so many big men in the roster, Sixers need to trade either Okafor or Noel. However, until now, neither one of them is in the trade list yet.
