Wednesday's episode of "Suits" marked a huge event for Mike Ross fans, as the character was finally released from prison after being charged of fraud in Season 5. In a couple of interviews, series star Patrick J. Adams offered a preview on what's to come for Mike as he faces his new life after jail.

One of the most interesting developments from Mike's arc on "Suits" Season 6 is the fact that he can no longer practice law. This means that he will be forced to face a completely different life in the remaining installments. Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Adams admitted that Mike does not really know what to do, adding that it's the only question that he has asked himself as soon as he gained his freedom back.

"I think that now that he's out, and obviously Harvey is going to want to do whatever he can to work with Mike again, he has to figure out how he can make something like that work - who are the people he really wants to be fighting for and how exactly he would do it, because obviously being a lawyer is not really an option," Adams told the publication.

Moving forward, Adams shared that next week's midseason finale of "Suits" Season 6 will see Mike being able to finally support his fiancé, Rachel in her first case. But in terms of their relationship, he remains positive that his short stint in prison will not affect their future as partners.

"Mike gets out of prison and he's just so excited to finally be able to support Rachel in her first case," Adams told The Hollywood Reporter.

"It's really about that; a reversal where he gets to be the one sitting in the courtroom watching her and helping her as he quietly readjusts to his life. It's a great episode though; in typical Suits fashion the world will be inexorably changed by the episode's end."

"Suits" airs every Wednesday at 9PM on USA Network.
