Fans of Yoo Ah In recently heard about his benign bone tumor diagnosis. In fact, it was even confirmed by his agency after some netizens confused the actor's condition as malignant.

A source affiliated with Yoo Ah In assured fans that the actor is in good shape, denying claims that the actor is struggling in terms of health. "There are no difficulties in his day-to-day life. We are watching his prognosis," the insider said as per Soompi.

It emphasized that the actor is not facing a severe illness. Also, the source added Yoo Ah In is scheduled to be re-examined for the mandatory military service.

While his fans are happy to hear about his true condition, many netizens are accusing the actor of using his health to get military exemption. Previously, Yoo Ah In failed to receive approval for his enlistment due to shoulder injury.

Amid recent reports of his benign tumor diagnosis, netizens have expressed their skepticism towards the actor. Some of them thought Yoo Ah In is just trying to avoid the military; hence, the actor has finally spoken up to address the allegation.

"I was aware that male celebrities can be misunderstood of using their injury or health condition to avoid military enlistment," the 30-year-old actor said as cited by Allkpop.

Yoo Ah In clarified he is not using his diagnosis as a tool to avoid the mandatory military service. The actor also considers this matter as a "misfortune," admitting that it pains him to hear about the controversy regarding his health condition.

"The fact that I have to ask for forgiveness to others for my misfortune struggles me but as an actor who grows with the public's love and attention, I decided to accept it as my responsibility," he added.

The actor ended his statement with a promise to complete his military duties to serve as an example to others.
