What's new with Huawei's sub-brand Honor? Just this month, the smartphone brand released Honor 6X, the much-awaited follow-up to their budget smartphone Honor 5X.

Honor 6X looks impressive with its sleek, contemporary design. The slim body is made up of metal frosted material and 2.5D curved glass. At an asking price of $250 for the 3GB and $300 for the 4GB, this sure has a lot more to offer.

Honor 6X boasts an extra-long battery life and fast charging technology. In the specs listed on Honor's official website, it says the phone's 3340 mAh battery has an increased capacity of up to 11 percent. It promises up to one and a half day of heavy usage on a full charge.

It has dual lens camera and color quality comparable to top-of-the-line smartphone brands also announced at the CES 2017. The Honor 6X is selfie-ready with its auto portrait touch-up software.

Meanwhile, this brand's way of attracting consumers is very millennial- they launched a review program that will allow real folks to get their hands on it and review everything. Apparently, consumers these days would Google something first before splurging. So how does this review program work?

By Jan. 26, Honor will select up to five fans who can review the product. At the end of the review process, one lucky fan will be selected to bag home an Honor 6X unit.

Those who will be chosen to review will get two weeks to do it. One week is dedicated for testing every single feature and the remaining week is for drawing conclusions. All the reviews will be posted on Honor's website.

The catch is only European citizens or residents of UK, Germany, France and Italy are allowed to enter this review program. Interested participants who are at least 18 years old just need to apply on the brand's official UK website and answer a few questions from there.

Will there be a US version of this review program? According to Android Authority, one may be announced soon. Here's an example of an Honor 6X Full review from a YouTuber:
