After his trade is finalized, Kyle Korver is now officially a member of Cavaliers. But LeBron James still insist that the team need a point guard.

Cleveland Cavaliers have finalized the trading process for Kyle Korver in Saturday for Mike Dunleavy Jr., Mo Williams and a future first-round pick. However James still has not satisfied with the roster, According to ESPN, he insisted that the Cavs need another point guard to back Kyrie Irving in coordinating the offense.

"We still got a couple more things we need to do. We got to get a point guard," James said.

James made a comparison with the NFL team that has three quarterbacks which provide valueble backup for the others. Currently, Cavaliers have trouble with Irving’s hamstring problem since last week, so they have to put DeAndre Liggins as the starter. However Liggins is not at the same level as Irving to coordinate the offense and distribute the ball. Liggins only averages 1.15 assists and 3.0 points in 27 games that he plays this season.

Meanwhile rookie point guard Kay Felder averages 1.72 assists and 5.67 points per game. Comparing their combine records to Irving’s 5.9 assists and 24.2 points, makes a huge gap difference. For that reason, James insisted they need another point guard.

Kyle Korver is a shooting guard which has passed his peak in the league according to FOX Sports. His his All-Star performance was during the 2014-15 season.Afterward, he has not made any great impact as he did before.

Nevertheless, Korver is a great addition to Cavaliers’ outside scoring. He is a great shooter from behind the arc. After a slump last season, Korver’s accuracy this season slowly began to improve. He averages 41.1 percent in his three-pointers this season.

The 35-year-old shooting guard will be a valuable wingman to score off-the-bench for Cavaliers. However, he has not been in rotation yet during the 120-116 victory over Phoenix Suns on Sunday night Jan. 8. Watch the discussion in ESPN’s First Take regarding the trade of Korver below:
