Former EXO member Kris Wu (a.k.a. Wu Yi Fan) is ready to take Hollywood by storm! The Canadian-Chinese singer-actor will make his Hollywood debut in "xXx: Return of Xander Cage." In a newly released trailer, viewers get a sneak peek at Kris' character in the upcoming action movie.

In the "xXx: Return of Xander Cage" trailer, viewers are introduced to Kris Wu as Nicks, a vital supporting character who's on Vin Diesel's team. In the "xXx" sequel, Kris Wu plays with big names including Diesel, Ruby Rose and Nina Dobrev, Jet Li and Samuel L. Jackson, to name a few.

His character, Nicks, is not someone bad guys should mess around with. He can DJ, he's good with guns and he also has smooth fighting skills.

Interestingly, the "xXx: Return of Xander Cage" Kris Wu trailer also features the singer's upcoming single "The Juice," Soompi reported.

After "xXx: Return of Xander Cage," Kris Wu is set to star in Luc Besson's "Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets," The Wrap reports. He will star alongside Dane DeHaan, Cara Delevingne, Ethan Hawke, Rihanna and Clive Owen.

The former EXO member left the group and SM Entertainment in 2014. After his departure, he was embroiled in a lengthy lawsuit drama with the agency. Kris Wu and SM Entertainment settled the dispute in July 2016. Under the agreement, his exclusive contract with SM Entertainment is to remain in force until 2022 as originally stipulated.

Despite his controversial rift with his former agency, Kris Wu continues to make milestones in his career. In Jan. 2016, the 26-year-old participated in the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game 2016 where he played under Drake's Canada team with Steve Nash, Tracy McGrady and Jose Bautista.

"xXx: Return of Xander Cage" will premiere in theaters on Jan. 20, 2017.
