Following the controversial incident, ABS-CBN executive Malou N. Santos arrived on set, and was pissed to find out that there were no cast members at that time.

While speaking with the publication, Bernal revealed that Santos' decision to walk out from the set didn't have anything to do with her.

Rather, it had to do with the actress' issues with the movie company Star Cinema.

Bernal added that her talent apologized to her, and told her again that she wasn't involved in the incident.

Meanwhile, after Bernal spoke with Santos, the former told the latter that they will film a happy scene. The latter agreed, and after filming, the director found out about the whole story.

When asked what the issue was about, Bernal said that it simply had to do with scheduling.

In fact, after Santos and Star Cinema sorted their issues out, the filming for "Everything About Her" resumed as normal.

In other news, Bernal slammed reports that the ABS-CBN head Santos went to the set of their film to check on the cast.

According to Bernal, no such thing happened, and it's also quite impossible for a head to run to set just to check on the cast. After all, she's one of the heads of the network.
