"Killzone" developer Guerilla Games has released a new trailer for the PlayStation 4 exclusive "Horizon: New Dawn."

Based on reports by Gamespot¸ the official video for "Horizon: New Dawn" is called "Creating a New World," which tackles the developers from the studio talking about the challenges (and also a privilege) they had in shifting from the more linear gameplay like their previous hit series "Killzone" to the open world of their newest sci-fi, fantasy, survival RPG.

"We're known for our first-person shooters series, Killzone. Storytelling in an open world in an RPG is not something that we hadn't done before," mentions Hermen Hulst, Guerrilla Games managing director. "But I think all of us, we really welcome it as a wonderful opportunity to create something that's so fresh, so new--it's a wonderful challenge for us."

In addition to that, the game's art director Jan-Bart Van Beek discusses about the different environments for "Horizon: New Dawn," especially when heading to specific areas. The environments include jungles, forests, snow-covered mountains, deserts, and ruins. The game will include day and night cycles and weather, both of which will have an effect on gameplay, according to Game Informer.

"Horizon: New Dawn" is said to be released on Feb. 28, 2017 exclusively for the PS4. The game will also benefit in the 4K qualities of the PS4 Pro, featuring extra detail, enhanced colors, and improved shadow maps and higher quality anisotropic filtering. There will be more quality of the texture sampling, giving off more detail in the environments.
